3rd Shift Inventory Specialist

Utilize your expertise and be part of handling a variety of materials in a manufacturing environment. You will follow standard work and operating procedures to ensure those duties are fulfilled and goals are met. You will ensure that raw materials needed for production are issued and moved in a timely manner to the appropriate areas within the production unit. Maintains inventory and traveler records for manufacturing; receives materials and issues (JIT coding); reports Work-In-Process status, shortages, and yield. You will be responsible for maintaining cycle counts and verifying actual inventory against paperwork. You will communicate and interface with various groups within the plant to ensure materials are being properly moved throughout facility.
Execute the standard procedures and assist Logistics team to fulfill tasks
Assist to drive a continuous improvement culture on the logistics process
Assist to build a Customer Satisfaction and Service culture
30 Responsible for Parts Quantity Accuracy
30 Receiving and issuing of parts
10 Coordinate Part Requests
20 Restock unused parts
10 Comply with all safety rules
YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma
- Ability to analyze information and concepts
- Ability to collaborate with others and work independently
- Ability to identify key details
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Good coordination, motor skills, and dexterity
- Creative thinking and idea generation
- Ability to communicate information clearly
