Providence Health & Services Supervisor - Environmental Services in Chewelah, Washington
Providence is calling a Supervisor ( Environmental Services , Day Shift, 1.0 FTE FT) to Providence St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chewelah, Washington. In this position you will:
Supervise the Environmental Services Technicians.
Assists with initiating, planning, and establishing policies for the Environmental Services Department at PSJH.
Perform special tasks such as (1) assists in EVS policy and procedure training, safety training of policies and procedures (2) assisting manager in determining low census staffing level for hospital.
Organize and maintain policy and procedure directory for EVS dept. File, update, delete Policies and Procedures per department policy and ensure placement in all other necessary department manuals.
Assist in preparing departmental budget and monitors departmental performance relative to budget for PSJH. Helps explain variances from budget and takes corrective action as necessary and directed.
Distribute material to employees, departments, and/or email programs as required.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma
Must be able to read and write the English language
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
At least 3 years of industry (hospital) experience
At least 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience in Environmental Services
